Single Pay-off & Take-up Drive, Motor & Gearbox Upgrade

Your single Pay-off and Take-up may be down because of an obsolete drive, motor or gear box. Don't keep your customers waiting and let your reputation suffer. Have your process requirements changed; do you need another type of reel, more pulling force or more speed from the equipment?

Description

Our Pay-off SPO 1250 is designed for tele, instrument, special and small copper cable production. Because of its physical measurements, it is easy to incorporate in a factory lay-out. The reel change is quick as pintles in/out and reel lift up/down movements are done pneumatically.

The pay-off accepts a wide range of reel sizes. The reel is rotated by an AC motor controlled by a three phase frequency converter. The pay-off is speed controlled from a built-in dancer, a separate dancer unit, an accumulator or manually.

The cable tension is set by adjusting the dancer, the accumulator or the panel potentiometer. The torque from the motor is transmitted to the reel with a rubber disc pressed against the reel flange.

The front of the machine has an operating panel that includes functions keys and a display. The commands are given on the panel and the set characteristics are shown on the display.

One set of reel fitting parts is included in the machine delivery.

Technical characteristics

Reel weight, max. 700 kg (0-250 rpm), 500 kg (250-450 rpm)

Reel rotation speed, max. 0 - 250 rpm /100 Nm, 250 - 450 rpm /100 - 50 Nm

Exact values depend on the assembly.
