troy@extrusionsolutions.netGel Filling System GEL 300 offers a stabile gel flow and viscosity from the start. Thanks to a special precision pump system, GEL 300 gives a stabile output also with micro tubes with a very small wall thickness.
The filling system is designed for continuous loose tube production. The system has a main container where the gel is continuously circulated under vacuum. This treatment removes all air bubbles from the gel. After the vacuum circulation the gel is fed to the line, where there is another circulation loop. Before the production starts jelly is continuously circulated from the main container to the jelly stand. This dual circulation system ensures that at the start up the air bubble free jelly has immediately a constant viscosity and pressure.
The gel filling system is filled automatically during the run. The system can be equipped with additional pumps to feed up to three lines simultaneously.
The main assembly is equipped with following units: a main storage vessel, a vacuum pump, and a circulation pump.
Jelly viscosity at 20 °C, max. | 25 000 mPas at 100 1/s |
Output, max. | 135 l/h |
Output pressure, max. | 150 bar |
Exact values depend on the assembly.
