The unique frame design makes it possible to utilize a small fleet angle. This reduces the tension variation also with wide reels and ensures a maximized productivity of high quality loose tube.
The pay-off is a high speed fiber pay-off for all kinds of fiber optic secondary coating lines. One frame has 1 to 6 reel positions. The fiber tension is controlled accurately with pneumatic dancers. By default the reels are behind doors. This improves operator safety at high speed lines.
A small fleet angle reduces the tension variation. This makes it possible to run standard 25Ð50 km reels as well as future 100 km reels. Automatic traversing is available as an option.
